Pine forest in Ooty is one of the most peaceful and cinematic attractions of Nilgiri Hills. It is a stretch of tall, pine trees situated along the scenic route between Ooty and Thalakunda. It is popular for its peaceful ambience, cool climate and is also a popular film shooting location where many Indian movies have been filmed.
Films like Chandramukhi, Dil Se, Raaz, Saajan, Deewana, Sadma are some of the blockbuster movies that have been shot here. It is best to visit between October and June rather than in monsoons as it will get slippery. It is great for nature walks. photoshoots and picnics.
