Om Beach, Gokarna

Om Beach is one of the most popular and peaceful beaches in Gokarna. It is named afeter the devotional symbol OM as it naturally forms the shape of the symbol when viewed from above.  This unique formation adds a deep significance devotionally to the beach and is a meaningul visit for devotees and beach lovers. Significance

Gokarna itself has been an important devotional center associated with lord Shiva. The Gokarna town is home to the Mahabaleshwar temple and as a part of their spiritual  journey devotees visit Om Beach. It is said that saints and sages once meditated here as they need peace and calmness which can be found here. Gokarna bus stand is located at a distance of 7.4 KM from the beach. Gokarna Cart bus stand is located 5 KM away from the beach. You can reach the beach by taking a local taxi from any of the bus stand.
